Swift is a concept product conceived through the Google Ventures Sprint process, aimed at making residential solar energy more affordable and accessible.
Project Goal: Reduce or eliminate the exorbitant expenses associated with permitting, financing, customer acquisition, and installation that are passed on to homeowners when purchasing residential solar.
Swift Solar Panel: At the heart of the Swift offering is a lightweight, foldable panel that can be delivered to the homeowner in a standard sized Amazon box. Once received the homeowner can easily transport the panels to the roof and secure them to the roof with an adhesive incorporated into the back of the panels.
Simplified Electrical Interconnection: Swift simply plugs in to a standard 240V dryer plug, eliminating the need for permitting or specialized installation.
System Monitoring: Swift incorporates comprehensive energy monitoring, providing complete visibility to the homeowner with respect to the performance of the system and any necessary maintenance.
Project Contribution: Led Sprint process and served as PM post-sprint to rally executive leadership around the concept. Drove market discovery exercises and PRD definition.
